- Our Mission Statement
There was great excitement and anticipation on Monday morning as the Year 5 and Year 6 students prepared to move into their new classrooms.
Some students were a little like Goldilocks as they tried out the various seating options. Last year, the teachers spent considerable time researching and choosing furniture to cater for different learning styles.
Some parents and grandparents will remember their school days when students were not to move from their seats and a greater emphasis was placed on working silently and independently. Current research indicates not only the need for students to move but also to have the opportunity to work collaboratively, quite a change from bygone days.
The students are enjoying their new rooms and were keen to share their views.
Gianluca - They are a mix of the old and the new, mainly new.
Paige - There are different places to work.
Troy - I have a habit of swinging my legs, I can do that.
Annliya -They are modern and spacious.
Thank you to our staff members who spent considerable personal time ensuring the classrooms were ready and a special thanks to Mr Paul Martin for coordinating the move, a great team effort!
God bless
Geraldine

We have had a new looking Baby G watch handed into the office. If you have lost one and can give a description, please come in to collect.
Thank you to parents who are helping to keep students safe. When queueing in the "pick up" line please move up behind the car in front to speed up the collection of students.
We are open Tuesday, Thursday and Friday 8am at Tuckshop.
Your support with donations of spreads (not nut based) would be appreciated. Donations can be dropped off at Tuckshop.

Enterprise for Veterans & ADF Families
Join us in Townsville this March!
Our free, four day boot camp is designed to support participants exploring self-employment, interested in intrapreneurship, or looking for professional development and/or exploring new career opportunities.
We work with twenty participants per boot camp in small teams across four days and touch on business model canvas, the lean start-up method, the future of work, and design thinking. Our design thinking immersive is experiential, coaching participants on entrepreneurial methodologies & applying these concepts to your own business or idea by focusing on a real business’ growth opportunity.
We include opportunities to network with guest entrepreneurs, intrapreneurs, and small business owners, with follow on specialist workshops and virtual mentoring & volunteering opportunities.
Get a sense of the ‘vibe’ here.
The program is open to:
- ADF partners of current or former serving members;
