There is much excitement around the lower school with all the new classrooms. It is fantastic. Our Year 2 students are handling the stairs with ease and care. It would be a great time to remind families that students wait in Bibi Goo Yumba or in the Tuckshop shed from 8 till 8.15am. There is no playing on the ropes playground or outside the classrooms. The teachers on duty covers the tuckshop area and Bibi Goo Yumba. We want to make sure that our students are staying safe. Thank you for your understanding with this.

Next week, Holy Spirit will participate in a trial run of NAPLAN online. This is just a test run to make sure our network can cope with an online format. No results will be generated from this trial run. On the positive side, it will expose our students to this online format which will be state wide over the next years. In the schools that used online this year, they stated that students were more engaged with the questions. This is also due to the fact that the test is tailored to the responses that the student provides.

Students in Year 3 and 5 will require a set of headphones and a mouse. Please contact your class teacher if you have any concerns.

Friday 2nd November is our Mini Fete for the Missions. On this day, classes run stalls and raise money for Missions. Each year level runs a variety of stalls from crazy hair to ice cream spiders and basketball shooting. Staff will inform their classes what they will be doing and how they can perform their bit for the missions. If any parent can help on the day, please contact your child's teacher.
