This week at Holy Spirit we value tolerance.  Tolerance is the ability to have respect for the individual as well as mutual respect and consideration between people.  Sometimes it can be difficult to agree with someone that may have a very different view to our own.  Tolerance enables us to see that others should be respected for their views or opinions. 

This week, as we end the term, we pray that our students show tolerance for those that are close to them and others in our community.

Saint Teresa of Calcutta reminds us to seek ‘the face of God in everything, everyone, all the time and His hand in every happening; this is what it means to be contemplative in the heart of the world.  Seeing and adoring the presence of Jesus, especially in the lowly appearance of bread, and in the distressing disguise of the poor’.  As the impact of COVID-19 deepens and winter approaches, the St Vincent de Paul Society is calling on Australians to dig deep and donate generously to the COVID-19 Winter Appeal.  People who need help can call our helpline on 131812. A PRAYER FOR THE END OF TERM….
We thank you Lord, for this term.
For the challenges, the successes,
and the mistakes from which we have learnt.
Be with us as we spend our time with family and friends.
Guide us to be peacemakers in our family,
and to always be conscious of You in our lives.
Keep us safe in our activities;
give us good rest and good fun.
Bring us back refreshed and ready for a new term.
