With 2 weeks of holidays around the corner, it is a great chance to check uniforms, stock up the stationery supplies and have a look at those black shoes. I know my son is pretty good at going through a few pairs of black shoes in a school year. The school uniform policy can be found HERE or on our school website.
The UNSW Gonski Institute for Education recently published parent resources and included in this was some helpful tips around the transition to high school. With just 2 terms left at Holy Spirit for Year 6 students in 2020, it is a great opportunity to share some of these tips.
'Travel around Queensland' was launched on Monday for our older students to be active in the mornings before school. Students walk, run, skip around a set course on the oval and calculate their distance according to our map of Queensland. It is great to witness students encouraging others to be active in the morning and talk about how far they have travelled.
Thank you parents for the outstanding effort for this exciting term. Not even a 'bug crisis' can stop us at Holy Spirit Catholic School. Have a fantastic break and we will see you on Monday 13th July.
