Linked In Workshop – Thursday 17 October – 9.00am – 11.00am

ADF partners are invited to join us for an information session about creating and managing your own LinkedIn profile. LinkedIn is a business and employment-oriented social networking service. It is becoming increasingly popular as a tool for employers seeking to recruit new staff. Come along for coffee and a biscuit, and learn tips and tricks for using LinkedIn to help with your career.

This event is not suitable for children.

Thinking about Study? RSL Queensland Scholarships Information session – Thursday 17 October - 11.00 am – 12.00pm

 

ADF partners are invited to join us for an information session about accessing scholarships for study through the RSL Queensland Scholarship Program. Applications for study in 2020 are now open. If you have considering study, this will be a great opportunity to find out more about the program and if you are eligible to apply.

Come along for coffee and a Tim Tam and speak with the RSL Queensland team.


This session will be held immediately after the Linked In workshop. The event is not suitable for children.

Disaster Ready Day – 3 November

The cyclone season is from 1 November – 30 April. Learn how to prepare for a natural disaster at this free community event.

Come to Disaster Ready Day for demonstrations on sandbagging and emergency repairs to windows, get to know your storm tide zone, and find out what to do in a disaster situation. Visit over 30 exhibitors and pick up a few giveaways along the way. Stay for the food stalls and free kids amusements!
