Last Sunday, toddlers to grandparents were present to continue the celebration of our 50 Years of education. Our students prayerfully led the singing at the parish mass and family members of all ages joined the fun of our first Colour Me Crazy Run. The enjoyment of participants and spectators was tangible and wonderful to see so many happy faces.

Have you thought about the ‘WHY’ of being happy?  There are many self-help books, psychologists and experts providing wise words, on how to be happy.

Last term the principals across our diocese spent a day with Dr. Jo Lukins who emphasised the importance of gratitude. Father John at last Sunday’s mass, too, commented on thanking God for the many things we take for granted. Being grateful is a positive step towards happiness.

Events such as the Colour Me Crazy require the generosity of staff members and parents alike. Thank you to our Assistant Principal, Mr Paul Martin, Greg and Matt, the grounds staff, the school Events’ Team and our CAFE (formerly Parents and Friends) Team who generously worked from early Sunday morning to ensure this event was a success. Thank you for your attendance in making the day a success.
