Migrant and Refugee Sunday Mass

Youth Activities

Fire Music Ministry Masterclass & Youth Rally is happening on Saturday, 24 August 2019 at Mater Conference Room. 

Fire Music Ministry Masterclass - starts at 2:30pm at Mater Conference Room led by the Australian duo Gus and Iggy. This Masterclass is will be based on enhancing young people's music skills and forming a Diocesan Youth Band. We encourage all musically talented young people to attend. Youth Rally

After the Masterclass, all are invited for dinner at 6pm followed by the Youth Rally. All are literally invited to this event! Music will be led by Gus and Iggy and those who participated in the Masterclass have the opportunity to sing/play alongside them. The guest speaker is Fr. Ken Barker, founder of Missionaries of God's Love. He will be speaking about finding your identity. He has a unique way in speaking to young people and all should attend. This will definitely be a spiritually enriching experience.

Dressed by Vinnies Fundraiser

Join us for a morning of fun, fashion and food. Showcasing clothing from across our stores in Townsville, including brand names and new (unworn) clothing, complete with tags. Marvel at our Barbie doll fashion creations which will be auctioned

on the day. You may be surprised by what’s on sale. So, come along and join in

the fun. All money raised will stay in Townsville to assist the local community

through our home visitation program. Our target is $5,000.
