Principal's Corner
This week is National Reconciliation Week. The theme for this year is ‘Grounded in truth, walk together with courage.’
National Reconciliation Week is a reminder for all Australians to learn about our shared histories, cultures, and achievements, and to explore how each of us can contribute to achieving reconciliation in Australia, this however, should not be restricted to one week of the year. The common goal of reconciliation is attainable when we all work together.
Thank you to the parents, staff members and students who created a wonderful evening for our fete on Friday evening. Nerves are always in abundance during the week of the fete. Will it rain? Will there be enough workers and peach blossoms? Fortunately the weather was magnificent and the rain held off until Saturday!
It was impressive to see the number of parents who assisted with setting up throughout the day and the parents, grandparents, staff members and students who worked on the stalls and even restored the school to order, ready for Monday.
Thank you to all who assisted and to our sponsors who donated prizes for the Dodger Draw and Cent Sale.
