Last week, principals from our Catholic schools in the Townsville Diocese were involved in a conference with Professor Br David Hall and members of ACU in Faith Formation. It was a wonderful couple of days discussing our own faith journeys and how we can lead our catholic culture in our schools. One key element that stood out in the 3 days was the call to build a culture of witness:  to discern your gifts or charisms , share these with others and bring the teachings of Jesus to life everyday to all in our communities. And the best way to do this in in our actions and conversations.

In our school, we see these gifts of God in the interactions between families, staff and with our parish. When I see 'Our SPIRIT Way' in action from children and adults along the path, in the playgrounds and in meetings. It is every person's responsibility as a member of the Holy Spirit Catholic School community to be the encounter of Christ to others in head, heart and hands. This is why we have "Strength in the Spirit"
