Principal's Corner
Last week, Brett Lee (not the cricketer) presented to our Year 4, 5, and 6 students, staff and parents about understanding and managing an online world. Brett comes from an extensive career as a detective in the battle to keep our kids safe. He presented some valuable tips and the most important one was that we need to educate our students to make good choices based on knowledge and reason. He also explained that we are the adults here to support our kids and we need to invest in their safety by setting some boundaries. Information on how to access the Cyber Safety Hub is below in the APA article. I strongly urge you to consider having a look as we all travel on this journey together for the safety of our children.
Last Saturday the 8am Mass, Father Lijo dedicated the mass to Ursula O'Donnell who had passed recently. Ursula is a past staff member of Holy Spirit Catholic School and we would like to pass on our thoughts and prayers to family and friends at this time.
Thank you for your patience with our gates as we are one groundsman down at this time. I would like to remind everyone that gates open approx 7.55am with supervision beginning at 8am. If you are arriving earlier, please supervise your students until the gates open. We want to keep our students safe and supervision is vital.
