What a tremendous start to our term. Thank you for your assistance with getting uniforms sorted, lunches made and students to school on time on Monday. I am sure this was a task as the mid year holidays are always much appreciated by staff and families. It has been a huge year already.

This term, we continue to work on our School Improvement Plans that were shared in January with our school community. Effective teaching and learning, wellbeing for staff and students and our Catholic identity are areas we strive to reach our goals for this year. One area of success for celebration has been work with staff in being familiar with the new Australian Curriculum that is required by 2025. Our Math and English unit reflect this new curriculum with much teamwork.

Recently, I met with a number of stakeholders with regard to our pick up zones including our Church car park. It was discussed at our P & F meeting last night, parent meetings as well as parish discussions. The Main Roads department has also provided some advice. I do welcome solutions based thinking so we can maintain safety for our families and students including staff on duty. If you have any possible suggestions to assist families with regard to pick up zones, please let me know. The first recommendation is that cars are not arriving before 2.30pm and waiting in the pick up zone as the signage states this is not permitted. If arriving early, please park in the allocated parks.
