Come and Try - Dragon Boating, Saturday 9 September

Join NQ Pheonix Dragon Boat Club for a morning on the water. Dragon
Boating provides an inclusive and accessible platform for individuals to
connect, learn, and engage in a challenging and rewarding activity.
Invictus Australia have partnered with the Australian Dragon Boat Federation to
encourage the Defence Community to get involved in the sport:

October

Football QLD, Dads & Daughters is a free event hosted by Football
Queensland to bring together Defence Dads & their Daughters for an evening
of fun activities and small-sided football games.

DMFS Absence-From-Home-Support Information Packs

Amid ongoing deployments, the DMFS Townsville team are providing
households with Absence-from-home-support information packs.
The friendly DMFS Family Liaison Officers are visiting Geckos Family Centre
on Tuesday and Thursday mornings from 9.30am until 12pm and will happily
provide you with a pack.
If you can’t make it on these days, call in to the DMFS Townsville office at the
Nathan Business Centre Aitkenvale, to pick up a pack 8.30am-5.00pm Mon-Fri.
