Welcome to the 2019 school year everybody! You may already know that Kerry has taken some leave and I am to be her replacement this year. I am very pleased to be back among my friends and colleagues at HSCS, and especially look forward to seeing how the students have grown and progressed in my absence.  

My first task is to encourage one representative from each class to take on the position of Class and Community Contact, more affectionately known as CCC. The role of CCCs is to assist both the teacher and parents in a variety of ways, fostering a friendly and welcoming environment within our school.  

It's important that each class is represented at the CCC meeting, which is held on the first Friday morning of each month.  This is an opportunity to connect with other parents and learn more about what is happening at HSCS.  Since it's our Golden Jubilee year (the school opened in 1969) there will be extra excitement surrounding the celebration of this milestone.  If you require more information about the position please don't hesitate to chat with your child's teacher, or myself if that is more convenient.
