Battery World Purple / Yellow Wheelie Bins Removal
Battery World have informed us that effective immediately they have had to remove the current purple and yellow wheelie bins in schools.
With a major focus on customer and community health and safety, these bins have been deemed potentially unsafe to reside in the community due to the introduction of various battery compositions over the years (namely the increase in Lithium.) Whilst the risk is still extremely low, we simply don’t want to take the risk.
Battery World value the relationship we have built over the years and would like to continue the important message of recycling within our school. As such, they would like to work with you to develop material to further encourage the students to come into the store to recycle their small batteries and also raise awareness amongst the senior students that we can recycle their car batteries too.
