Saturday June 26th - My Dad & Me – Mini Chefs!
ADF dads and their kids are invited to a morning that's all about dad and the kids. Each month offers different themed activities that allow dads and their kids to connect through fun. This month our theme will be 'mini chefs'. Keep an eye out on DCO social media for monthly details and remember, this is a mum free zone, so let her enjoy the morning off!

Defence Biz Network invites Defence members, partners, and veterans who have their own small business (or are looking to start one!), to join a networking group that understands the unique challenges that Defence partners' businesses face and is there to support each other through it all. Not everyone understands these challenges, however the members of this group do!

Defence Families of Australia (DFA)
Defence Families of Australia (DFA) is the official body appointed by the Government to represent the views of Defence Families.
What we do:
· Inform the Government and Defence on the needs of ADF families (DFA team members are partners of current serving members)
· Advocate on behalf of families across a range of issues
· Provide a forum for families to raise issues and concerns
· Inform families on assistance and services available.

ADF Family Health Program
The ADF Family Health Program has your family covered.
Did you know that the Department of Defence offers ADF families full reimbursement of out of pocket expenses for a number of Medicare recognised services?
The ADF Family Health Program makes healthcare more affordable and accessible for recognised dependants of full-time ADF Members and Reservists on Continuous Full-time Service. Families can claim unlimited reimbursement of gap fees for Medicare recognised GP visits, and also receive a financial allocation (up to $400 per dependant) for use towards allied health and medical specialist services.
East registration and electronic claiming make the Program extremely user friendly.

For advice, support or local community information, contact our all-hours Defence Family Helpline. Run by the Defence Community Organisation, the Helpline is the best way to access the programs and services that we offer to help Defence families manage the military way of life.
The helpline is available 24/7 and is staffed by qualified human services professionals including social workers and psychologists.
