FROM THE APA
There is much excitement around this Friday as we test ourselves in the school cross country carnival and have a coloured clothes day for our Fete. The morning starts with our collection of "Trash and Treasure" items for our Fete. Have a search of your household and see if there are items that are in reasonable condition and pass these on to assist with our school Fete on May 14th. Students are allowed to wear coloured clothes as long as they are sunsafe and that they have joggers for the cross country. If students would like to wear their house colour as part of their coloured clothes, this is their choice but not compulsory.
Our cross country begins first up in the morning. Mr Place has arranged a challenging course and would welcome any parent support on the day to act as course marshalls. This is our first opportunity for 2021 for the Branagan Blues, the Arnold Reds and the Stephen Whites to go head to head for the bragging rights for the next 12 months. Looking forward to another community event to support our students and demonstrate fantastic sportsmanship.
Naplan is only 13 more sleeps and we are finalising our preparations. Please find attached our schedule for testing. If students miss a test, don't panic as we do have catch up sessions. Students cannot move onto the next test until the catch up test is complete. We are required to complete the tests in the following order:
Writing - Reading - Conventions of Language - Numeracy.
