Welcome back everyone and it is great to see so many smiling faces on the students (and the parents) as they arrived back on Monday. As we move into the cooler months, it is a great time to dig out the red school jumper and give it a quick wash in preparation for the "chilly" weather. As per our school uniform policy, it is a plain red jumper or the school jumper which can be purchased from School Locker.
This Sunday, Holy Spirit will participate in the annual ANZAC DAY March along the Strand. Year 6 students and some siblings will represent our school as numbers are capped this year due to government regulations. We thank those families and our staff for making the commitment to pay our respects on this important day. Those students marching are asked to be at the Strand Park by 8.30 as we step off at 9am.
Naplan 2021 is only a few weeks away and our students continue to prepare for this exciting adventure. The schedule of the testing is as follows:
Students must complete the tests in order as set out by ACARA.: Writing - Reading - Spelling and Language Conventions - and finally, Numeracy. Teachers are going through the various styles of questions and students are learning to manipulate the test browser and know how to use all of its features. Families can access the Public Demonstration Site if they would like to see examples of how the test is structured.
