Interhouse Swimming Carnival

Last Friday we had our Year 3 to 6 Interhouse Swimming Carnival. Our Sports Captains were amazing and led the way for their Houses with war cries. Thank you to our Holy Spirit staff for their fantastic team effort to contribute to a great swimming carnival. Thank you to parents for your support on the day and for adhering to the procedures in place. 

Congratulations to all students involved in the Swimming Carnival, especially to the overall winners, Stephen whites!

NQ School Sport Aquathlon Trials

Congratulations to the following students Andrew 5D, A-Tai 5B, Brigitte 5D, Emily 5C and Mala 5C for taking part in the North Queensland School Aquathlon Trials at Riverway last Sunday Morning. For many students it was their first experience of an Aquathlon. All students represented Holy Spirit’s motto ‘Strength in the Spirit’ and completed the race, which was a 1km run, 200m swim and another 1km run.  Well done to Mala 3rd place and Brigitte 8th place who were selected in the NQ Team to travel to Hervey Bay in February to compete in the State Championships.
