Geraldine Egelton, our school Principal, is currently away on carer's leave with her mum.  During her absence, I will be sitting in the 'big chair'. Thank you to Mr Brenton Place who will take on the role of APA for the time being. 

Over the past few weeks, much has been happening at Holy Spirit Catholic School. During the holidays, Bibi Goo Yumba's ceiling had a 'face lift' to freshen up. The ceiling was checked and re-painted and we are currently in the process of re-locating our solar inverters from J block. We have had our scheduled checks of safety switches, pest control have monitored our buildings, some of our classrooms had carpets cleaned, dead trees removed, final adjustments from our building project and our fantastic grounds staff continue to keep our school looking tremendous. All this happened as Holy Spirit families enjoyed their holidays together.

Can I also congratulate our families for the way in which you continue to use our pick up and drop off zones around the school. We are trying a new system in the Church area and the students and families are responding beautifully and traffic is flowing. I would still encourage the use of Albert Street as this is a much quieter area. One way in to assist would be to have a card with your family name on the dash so this name can be called through the microphone and students can move promptly. A suggestion has been to have this name on the sun visor and this then can be turned down when arriving. What a fantastic idea.
