- Our Mission Statement
Class teachers spend considerable time ensuring classes have a balance of gender and academic abilities. As adults, we know the importance of working with others who have different backgrounds and life experiences, it is important that children too, learn to work with others with whom they do not know.
It is natural for children to experience some anxiety when experiencing the unfamiliar. Some children will adjust quickly, while others will require more time. Parents can best support their children by reminding them they have successfully started the previous school year with new teachers and friends. New relationships will bring some challenges but many rewards.
On the afternoon of Thursday, 23 January, 2020 there will be an opportunity for parents to meet class teachers. This is a great time to drop off the children’s books and meet other parents.
I hope you will be able to join us tomorrow evening for Carols by Torchlight, it is a relaxing way to end the school year and enjoy the talented performances of our students.
God bless
Geraldine

Students in the Year 4 and 5 choir have been invited to be part of the proceedings. It is a wonderful occasion and all are welcome to attend.

The Mini Vinnies students took their last visit to Brooklea Retirement Village last Thursday. The year 3 recorder ensemble came along as well with Mrs Crimeen to play Christmas carols.
The residents were very happy to see us and a great afternoon was enjoyed by everyone. There was plenty of chatting and games to play along with some yummy afternoon tea.
It has been a wonderful year as it has been 10 years that our Mini Vinnies have been visiting, that would be over 70 visits!!!! With each visit our Mini Vinnie students bring joy and worth to each resident and that means our Mini Vinnies are making a difference.
Congratulations Mini Vinnies students and we hope you will continue your contributions to the community in a compassionate manner as you have done this year. All the very best for the new chapter in your lives.
