Welcome to Term 4! We commence this term with Year One and Year Two students settling into their classrooms which are easily accessible from Ross River Road.
Thank you to staff members and parents who assisted with the move and special thanks to Mr Paul Martin who is our ‘relocations’ expert’. In the past term, twenty classes have relocated - a mammoth effort.
Our Prep to Year Two classrooms are all now situated in the one precinct, completing the first stage of our school master plan.
The Out of Hours School Care facility will be completed this term. This is a wonderful facility for our students and staff members.
Thank you for your patience throughout this time.
God bless
Geraldine
Well done to all who donated to our ‘Fundraiser for the Farmers’. Last term, Class and Community Contacts, Cathy Duval and Lisa Vickers put forward the proposal to fundraise for our farmers.
The Coloured Clothes Day, funds from the Father’s Day Stall and the Mini Fete, later this term will all go to support this worthy cause.
Congratulations to all students that participated in this years Eisteddfod.

Once again we have achieved amazing results in the Creative Writing Section at the Eisteddfod. It was wonderful to see over 100 students from Year 1 to Year 6 take up the challenge of entering a story or poem in the competition.
All students who entered should be very proud of their efforts.
Many thanks to all teachers who assisted with preparing the children.

In the heat of a parenting moment
by Michael Grose
We all do and say things in the heat of the moment that in retrospect make us cringe. That make us go “What on earth was I thinking?”. That fill us up with regret. Here’s a case in point.
Recently, a parent told her five year old daughter that her bedroom was so messy that the tooth fairy wouldn’t be visiting. Miss 5 just folded her arms and jutted her jaw in defiance, indicating exactly what her mother could do with this tidy bedroom business! And so the tooth fairy took one look at a messy bedroom and flew on by.
Next morning there was quite a scene when Miss 5 saw her tooth still in the cup, and worse still, no money beside it.
